Oil Free Vacuum Pump

Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump, due to its simplicity of construction and design, is one of the most reliable in mission critical application. As a result it is the most widely used vacuum pumps for wafer foundry, store media facility, life science research hub, health care facilities and other high technology facilities.

It is also probably because of its popularity, that Specific Technical Stringent Standard that promotes Good Practice is developed by the international community such as EEMUA: 151; API 681.

Oil Lubricated Vacuum Pump

These are usually vane pumps which consist of two moving parts - a rotating hub mounted eccentrically in a casing and two or more sliding vanes housed within this hub. Oil is required for internal lubrication. Hence more servicing attention is usually required as compared to a Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump.

The tolerance of the production or research application which they serve to oil is usually another consideration that is taken when making a decision for adopting them. Oil Mist Eliminator at discharge is required, if the operating vacuum level is not too high.
